11:01 am	I felt oddly like I wanted to write today. I walked out on the quad and wrote some; descriptions of the interesting people I saw. It was good stuff indeed. Funny, considering how long its been for me - but the people here were really inspiriting and there was music and free popcorn. I feel like I can't go wrong today. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

5:49 pm	Something unusual happened to me today. I was walking down by the quad, and saw a girl standing waiting for something. As I watched, she turned her head, and for that instant I had this vision of her, half bird and half human. The image was very strong, very real - almost like I was seeing a very stylized painting of her. But definitely half bird, half human (the bird was something large and black - maybe a crow?): it was a beautiful thought. It only lasted for a second. It got me thinking along the usual lines, about heroes. All the way home I was imagining things. (Comment on this)
